Brandi Fisher is the Founder and CEO of the Alliance for Police Accountability (APA), a grassroots organization in Allegheny County dedicated to dismantling systemic oppression, reforming criminal justice, and strengthening community–police relations. Under her leadership, APA has co-authored and passed multiple laws and referendums, secured over $13 million in relief for individuals and families, and elevated public safety as a core local issue. Known for her ability to bridge divides, Fisher has convened coalitions of organizations, officials, and impacted communities to advance systemic reform, including the Coalition to Reimagine Public Safety, which promotes a trauma-informed, public health approach to safety and justice. Beyond advocacy, she has influenced philanthropic reform through her work with the Pittsburgh Foundation’s Social Justice Fund and national funders, leveraging over two decades of experience in youth development and education. A foster mother and lifelong advocate for children, Fisher also founded Rise Up 365 and the J Miles Youth Engagement Center in Downtown Pittsburgh, and serves on multiple boards while continuing to be a leading voice for equity and humanity.

Since 2023, Ujamaa has served as the Lead Digital Coordinator for the Alliance of Police Accountability, managing all aspects of the organization’s digital presence. With expertise spanning social media management, website management management, photography and graphic design, Ujamaa ensures the APA’s message reaches and resonates with the social justice community.

Ross Tedder joined the Alliance of Police Accountability in 2024 and currently serves as the Director of Civic Engagement. In this role, Ross leads efforts to empower community members through education, advocacy, and direct action.

With a focus on building stronger civic participation, Ross leads community canvassing and phone banking and works to connect residents with the tools and knowledge they need to influence local policy, promote justice, and create lasting community impact. His leadership helps ensure that every voice is heard and every vote counts.
